Website maintenance & support

A dependable place to turn when your website needs attention.

Keep your website current, secure and useful without spending your own time wrestling with updates, hosting or technical problems.

Ongoing website care

Practical support, without vague promises.

Every website is different. We review what is already in place, agree what needs looking after and state clearly what is and is not included before work begins.

01

Keep it current

Publish agreed content, image and design changes carefully, with checks across desktop and mobile before release.

02

Keep it dependable

Look after the technical essentials appropriate to the site, including updates, certificates, monitoring, backups and recovery.

03

Know who to contact

Use one clear route for website support, with the context kept together instead of explaining the setup again each time.

A defined service

Ongoing plan or a clearly quoted change.

Websites we already manage

Design, hosting and support stay connected, making routine changes and technical decisions simpler after launch.

Websites built elsewhere

We can review an existing website, its access and technology, then explain what can safely be supported or improved.

Different types of websites

The maintenance plan reflects how the website is built. Software and plugin updates are included where the site uses them and the agreed plan covers them.

Work outside the plan

Larger redesigns, new features and integrations are described and quoted before development starts, so there are no ambiguous extras.

Common questions

Website maintenance, explained plainly.

Can you maintain a website built by somebody else?

Usually, yes. We first review the website, access, hosting and technology so we can identify any risks and propose a safe support plan.

What is included?

The exact scope is agreed in writing. It can include content changes, technical upkeep, monitoring, domains, certificates, backups and recovery appropriate to the website.

Can I request work only when I need it?

Yes. Support can be an ongoing plan or a clearly quoted change, depending on how often the website changes and how quickly help needs to be available.

Is hosting required?

Not in every case. We review the current arrangement first, although bringing hosting and maintenance together can make responsibility and recovery much clearer.
