Clear terms for working together.

These terms apply to enquiries and services supplied through Spring Onion. A written proposal, order form or service agreement may add to these terms and will take priority if there is a conflict.

Who provides the service

Spring Onion is a brand name used by P3S Consulting Limited for designing, maintaining and hosting websites. References to “Spring Onion”, “we”, “us” or “our” in these terms mean P3S Consulting Limited.

Quotes and scope

We will describe the agreed work, price and any recurring services in writing before work starts. Anything outside that agreed scope may require a further quote or approval. Timescales depend on receiving the information, content, access and decisions needed from you.

Domains and DNS

Domain registration is subject to availability and the relevant registry’s rules. The customer remains responsible for supplying accurate registrant details and for ensuring the domain name does not infringe another party’s rights.

Domain prices shown on our Pricing page exclude VAT, which is added at 20%, and include DNS hosting. Website hosting, email services and other third-party services are separate unless the quote says otherwise. Registration periods, renewal arrangements and any registry-specific conditions are confirmed before purchase.

Hosting and maintenance

The hosting, monitoring, backup, maintenance and support included in a service are those set out in the applicable proposal or service agreement. No internet service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted, but we will take reasonable care in operating the agreed service and responding to issues within its stated support arrangements.

Maintenance does not include unlimited redesign, new functionality, third-party licence fees or repairing problems caused by changes made outside our control unless agreed in writing.

Your responsibilities

You must provide content and instructions you have the right to use, keep account details secure, review work when asked and tell us promptly about material errors or security concerns. You must not use our services for unlawful, abusive, deceptive or harmful activity.

Fees and payment

Prices, payment stages and due dates are shown in the relevant quote or invoice. Recurring services and domain renewals may change in price where supplier, registry, tax or service costs change; any new renewal price will be communicated before it applies. We may pause work or suspend a service if an overdue invoice remains unpaid after reasonable notice.

Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you supply. Ownership and licensing of design, code and other work we create will follow the written proposal. Third-party software, fonts, images and services remain subject to their own licences.

Cancellation and transfer

Cancellation terms and notice periods are set out in the relevant proposal or service agreement. Work already completed, committed third-party costs and non-refundable domain or licence purchases remain payable. We will provide reasonable assistance with an agreed transfer once outstanding amounts have been settled.

Liability

Each party remains responsible for losses that are a reasonably foreseeable result of its breach. We are not responsible for indirect losses or failures caused by third-party platforms, registries, networks or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
